More info

The Grand Cru Sonnenglanz, or the brilliance of the sun is a terroir composed of limestone marl on the heights of the municipality of Beblenheim. Our plots rise to 270 m of altitude exposed Southeast.
In the vine we find a total grass; We perform a double guyot pusher size. A strict disbudding is carried out to control yields. The harvest is done exclusively by a regional team, by hand.

Alcoholic degree of 13% vol.

With a warm winter, a rainy spring and a dry summer, 2016 gave us a hard time. Thanks to the rains of October, the vines were able to reach the desired maturity. The desired quality is at the rendezvous.

Wine making

The grapes were pressed with a pneumatic membrane press and then fermented at low temperature, ie at 18-20 ° Celsius. After fermentation, the wine was raised on lees for 3 months. Bottled at the end of April 2017.

 To be served between 10 and 12 ° C.
