To develop this wine, we put three parcels of gewürztraminer together with the same soils.
In the vineyard there is a total natural grass; we make a Guyot double poussard pruning leaving 5 buds per branch. Harvesting is done exclusively by hand. For this wine we have a yield of 60 hectoliters per hectare.
Beautiful cuvée, which can as much delight the palates as an aperitif as during a meal. It develops a delicately spicy, fruity and distinguished bouquet, coupled with soft and silky structure.
Degree of alcohol: 13% vol.
The Alsatian vineyard came close to apoplexy in early August because of a considerable water shortage. But thanks to the exceptional health status the harvest 2015 will remain in the memories.
The grapes were pressed with a pneumatic membrane press and then fermented at low temperature at 18-20 ° Celsius. After fermentation, the wine was raised on lees for 3 months. Bottled in April 2016.
Nice Yellow color. Beautiful aromas of roses that are also found in the mouth. This wine is well balanced between its volume and a beautiful freshness at the end of the mouth.
To be served between 10 and 12 ° C.
